Description
Our organic mountain chamomile essential oil for cosmetics is obtained from the species Matricaria chamomilla. The product bears the name Chamomile Wild organic essential oil for cosmetics. Behind this name is an entirely organic liquid whose composition contains no preservatives and colourants, while botanical purity remains its leading quality. The composition owes its purity to organic cultivation, as the plantations are maintained without synthetic auxiliaries. The pure composition carries a rich scent with a fresh and slightly spicy hint over a warm base. The scent belongs to a liquid whose consistency appears fluid, clear and uniform. The consistency has a pale blue to greyish green tone, which comes from chamazulene, formed during extraction from the matricine accumulated in the flowers of the plant itself. The flowers come from Bulgaria and are the only plant part used in the extraction of the aromatic liquid. The plant from these plantations belongs to the Asteraceae family, which unites numerous species with inflorescences rich in volatile substances. The inflorescences undergo steam distillation, which is why the aromatic profile retains its natural purity and conveys the true character of the plant inflorescences used. It is the flowers that carry the volatile sesquiterpenes, which distillation transfers into the finished liquid. The transferred ingredients shape the rich intensity of the scent and give the product a pronounced olfactory character. Moreover, the olfactory character derives solely from the plant raw material harvested in the organic plantations. The pale blue shade is most clearly visible in daylight.

Application
Organic mountain chamomile essential oil is widely used in cosmetics, where it is incorporated into a variety of formulas for the face, body, hair and hands. In facial care, it is used in creams, serums, masks, toners and cleansing gels intended for sensitive, dry, mature or acne-prone skin, helping to soothe irritation, redness and swelling and contributing to the regulation of hydration. It is included in eye care products to reduce puffiness, in lip balms and in products for combined face and neck care. In body care, it is present in lotions for relieving irritation, for protection against external aggressors and for intensive moisturising of dry and flaky skin, as well as in after-epilation and after-sunburn products. For hair, the oil is incorporated into shampoos, balsams and masks for a sensitive scalp, for strengthening and nourishing dry and brittle hair. It also finds a place in hand and foot creams, in products for mature skin, for support during hormonal fluctuations, for restoring the skin barrier and for protection against pollutants, climatic changes and premature ageing.

Storage

Store organic mountain chamomile essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging and, as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for cosmetics from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
